1948 Plymouth, Special Deluxe. Beautiful, clean, Tennessee car. With SUICIDE Doors. Has a Flathead Inline, 217.8 (218) CID engine with a “3 on the Tree” 3-speed manual transmission. The Marine Blue paint is in beautiful condition, very respectable; not “show winning” perfection, but would be very proud to take it to car shows and cruises. Interior was restored years ago and very pretty-no rips or tears in the seats, looks great! Chrome and glass, interior and engine compartment; are nice, lots of chrome and trim gleaming. The radio turns on but doesn’t get reception. Heater blower works. Just installed new fuel pump, battery, and ALL 6 wheel cylinders-NEW REAR BRAKE PADS were re-shoed and drums cut. Carb is rebuilt and new battery! I FIXED THE BRAKE LIGHT. speedometer cable was making a weird noise-so I disconnected it (The odometer works fine). ******FULL TUNE UP WAS DONE in April 2013=new spark plugs, dist cap, points, condenser, oil change, brake bleeding, fully greased chassis, Compression test was done; 95-100% on all cylinders. PURRRRS LIKE A KITTEN.*****ALSO, just added TURN SIGNALS to the ORIGINAL running lights (never had turn signals before)! Be prepared to answer questions when out and about in this beauty.. it gets lots of attention.
NO TRADES, NO TRADES, NO TRADES! THANK YOU.
CLEAN TITLE.
