The Nissan Intelligent 4×4 system provides three driving positions so you can select the desired drive mode according to the driving conditions. Select the AUTO mode for normal driving conditions.
The 4HI mode is used for driving on rocky, sandy or snow-covered roads.
Use the 4LO mode for driving on steep grades or muddy roads To shift between the
4H and 4L modes, stop the vehicle and place the shift lever in Neutral. The vehicle information display shows the drive mode selected when in 4HI or 4LO.
The indicator may blink while shifting from one drive mode to another.
If the 4WD warning light located in the meter comes on, the 4WD shift indicator turns off.
If this light comes on or blinks slowly during operation or rapidly after stopping the vehicle for a while, it is recommended you visit a Nissan Dealer for service.
