One of my friends has a traffic light he wanted me to rewire for him. He wanted manual control of the lights as well as the option of it automatically cycling through the different lights. I wired up this model on a breadboard and coded this controller to test the concept. The top button activates automatic mode. The group of three buttons activate each of the three light colors.
The actual traffic light will either use relays to turn on bulbs or convert it to LEDs so everything is low voltage.
