The Truvo detector from Bosch locates iron, non-ferrous metals and electrical cables, making it easier to identify potentially hazardous areas.

The Truvo can detect ferrous metals at depths of up to 7 cm and non-ferrous metals at depths of up to 6 cm. Also, it can detect electrical cables at depths of up to 5 cm.

A straightforward LED traffic light system indicates whether it is advisable to drill at the desired location or not: Green means that no obstacles have been detected. Yellow means that drilling is not advisable. Red means that drilling should not be carried out at this point. In addition to the red light, a signal also sounds with varying volume. If metal is detected, the audible signal is continuous and the LED is continuously lit, whereas if electrical current is detected, the audible signal is intermittent and the LED flashes quickly.
