Control Systems – Traffic Lights Project – 2014
This student (Mamadou Fall) is demonstrating the LED traffic lights he assembled for the embedded computing main project as part of the CITXX award.
What he doesn’t refer to in the video is that he also wrote the computer program which is now embedded in the controller. The program has been taught how to operate the lights, count cars, test light/dark levels etc in order to know when to change the traffic lights.
This was part of his C20015 Control Systems module, taken in support of the major CITXX Level 5 award in CTI Senior College, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Their chosen course is “Computer Systems and Programming”.
