Cyclist Walks Through Red Traffic Lights

Of all the red light jumpers that I witnessed in London on Saturday, this woman’s method intrigued me most. I suspect she is suffering from a (common) cognitive disorder which leads her to believe that she is saving considerable time by jumping red traffic lights.

I have obviously read in the newspaper, and heard on the television, about all the nasty cyclists in London who jump red traffic lights, but it was only yesterday that I personally witnessed them out in full force. To be fair to the cyclists, I also saw (and filmed) at least as many motorcyclists, taxi drivers and other drivers jumping red traffic lights in various ways. Perhaps it’s a London thing rather than a cycling thing.
