I have added remote controlled capability to my solar, usb rechargeable LED light strip. The device consists of a 3.7v lithium ion battery charge controller and a DC to DC voltage booster. This setup allows the 3.7 volt battery to run the 27 LED light strip. The RF pwm LED controller has many functions and can help lower the power demand of the LED strip. I have added a solar rechargeable option as the light will be place on my garage wall.
I have to refine the setup somewhat, adding a switch to power off completely and if needed, another battery.
