Traffic Light Sequence – Green – Amber (Stop unless dangerous) – Red – Flashing Amber (Carry On if crossing is clear) or Red And Amber (Stay Put) – Green again
Zebra Crossings – You Must Give Way to any pedestrian on the crossing – You Should give way to someone waiting to cross
Approaching any type of crossing – Ease off the gas – Check Mirrors for following traffic – Scan the crossing
ZigZag Lines – It’s an offence to overtake or park in this area – You may overtake a cyclist as long as they are not stopped at the crossing.
