EASTON — No problems were reported to air traffic controllers before a single-engine plane crashed into a Route 106 supermarket parking lot this morning, killing all three people aboard, according to the FAA.
“We listened to the air traffic tapes, and there was no indication from the pilot that he was experiencing any problems,” said FAA spokesman Jim Peters.
No people were injured on the ground.
The victims were the pilot, a medical patient and the patient’s wife, who have not been identified. The couple was from Long Island, N.Y., Peters said.
