The front porch of a 54-year-old businessman’s home in Aman Perdana in Malaysia was set alight early yesterday after two unidentified men threw bottles containing flammable liquid at the house, according to The Star Online.

According to Moses Muthiah, he was awakened at around 2:30 a.m. by the sound of his dog barking. He rushed downstairs to find his porch on fire on damage to the back of his Mazda car. Moses also saw the two men flee on a motorcycle.

Moses said he believed the bottles contained petrol, and that he was able to note down the license plate number of the motorcycle.

Later, a security guard in charge of patrolling the housing area said he did notice a Proton Iswara vehicle making rounds in the before the bombing took place.

The Star Online reports, “‘It was as if the car was inspecting the area before the men on the motorcycle threw the explosive materials,’ he said.”
