This is a second year PLC group project for my electrical course. The build uses 2 Schneider Electric Zelio Smart Relays, the first handles PIN input and the second handles the process.
The centre is lifted with a pneumatic elevator and uses a small frame to support the centre conveyor. The conveyors are using small 12VDC motors (for either car windows or wipers) which drive 2 belts.
Input is achieved by a user entering their PIN which consists of 4 digits using the numbers 1-4. Each PIN can be reprogrammed by the user and protections are in place so an existing PIN can not be taken. Each PIN is assigned to a single bay.
The right side red light will return an error if there is a car in the bay and on the elevator at the same time or if both the bay and elevator are empty.
The buttons on the right are for stopping and starting the process in case of an emergency or power outage. If the e-stop is pushed or the power goes out the red light will flash until the start button is pressed where the program will then resume where it left off. While the e-stop is down the red light will remain solid which indicates the outputs of the PLC are physically disconnected by a relay for safety reasons.
