This is our second project using the GPIO breakout board on the Raspberry Pi. We built a simple circuit board with three LEDs connected to a 220 ohm resistor. The LEDs were then connected to the GPIO breakout board and controlled by Python running on the Pi.
After showing Philip (age 9) how to switch one of the LEDs on and off he then programmed the entire traffic light sequence.
