Raspberry Pi – Traffic Lights – Scratch – GPIO Pins

This video tutorial will teach you how to use the GPIO Pins with scratch on the Raspberry Pi (B+) Pin set up. This will work with all future models. It shows you how to connect the board and also shows you how to set it up using the GPIO server in scratch. Students should enjoy this and it’s a good gateway into getting students to build their own Pi-Cade’s using arcade buttons you can purchase from other places. I’m a secondary teacher of computer science at Brooke Weston Academy in Corby. I make these videos to encourage students to try more coding.
