Retention, Attrition, and Mobility of West Virginia Educators

REL Appalachia held this webinar on November 2, 2016, to share findings from the recently released report Retention, attrition, and mobility among teachers and administrators in West Virginia. The report highlights a pressing concern in West Virginia’s public school system— teacher/administrator recruitment and retention. The event featured state and local perspectives on the issue from Dr. Michael Martirano, West Virginia’s state superintendent of schools, and local superintendents from Berkeley and McDowell Counties.
