Roadside Parking Analysis with OpenCv on Intel Galileo



Generally parking slot analysis is done using either IR sensor or distance sensors in a fixed parking area, where you will have proper parking lines. However, how to manage roadside parking? This application demonstrates the use of OpenCV algorithm to analyze availability of parking space. There is still a huge scope for improvements. This demo application primarily shows the processing ability of Intel Galileo by doing image processing using OpenCv background subtraction algorithm.
