Skrotnisse and his friends – with Swedish and English subtitles

Scrap dealer Nisse and his son Kalle runs a scrapyard, in a small nameless city.
Nisse’s childhood friend, universal genius Bertil Enstöring, an inveterate hermit, is working on his book about all of his inventions and technological wonders.

The evil city engineer Ture Björkman, decides to by all means get his hands on Bertil’s book.

The series revolves around how Nisse and Kalle helps Bertil avoid Ture.
The first attempt was to move Bertil’s lighthouse, which has an engine with a propeller at the bottom to be able to fly.
Nisse and Kalle get the old engine running but unfortunately it’s too damaged, forcing Bertil to crash land in the scrapyard.

Bertil finally realize that he can’t stay in town longer and ships himself in a box to the Sahara desert to escape Björkman and all other people.
Björkman however, goes on the hunt which unfolds the most peculiar scenes, when science is questioned by a skilled magician.
