First light is a T intersection, where traffic moving East have a red like (me) and traffic exiting the freeway to the North can either yield and turn West, or stop at a light and turn East. There is no road to the South.
The light for the offramp is red, my light is red, but traffic moving westbound have a green.
When the light for the offramp turns green, the next light for the onramp to head back North turns green with a green turn arrow. I guess so everyone that just got off the freeway can get back on going the opposite direction. I.e. NO ONE.
BUT, that light stays green, as does the arrow, for a few seconds after the offramp light turns red, and the traffic travelling East toward the onramp get a green light.
As you can see by the video, there is not quite enough time to make it through the green light before the next signal and the arrow turn yellow, then red.
Its timed pretty stupidly, but if you launch your car like the fucking tree just dropped at the 1/4 track, you CAN make that arrow… it just might be a little yellow when you get there.
