Victor’s Trick: Left Turn Signal. Green Arrow just go with a very confident Yield. Yellow Arrow prepare for the stop. If the law permits, green light, continue over the cross walk. Keep your wheels straight. YIELD to pedestrians and ALL oncoming traffic. If there’s no people or cars, Go. If there is no opportunity, you may turn on Yellow or Red. At Red, you have to go. Look for the yellow line.
Law says: Left Turns When making a left turn, a driver should: • Give a left-turn signal from the proper turning lane. • Obey traffic signs and signals. • Yield the right of way to pedestrians, emergency vehicles and other vehicles in the intersection. • Check all approaching traffic. • Point the wheels straight ahead until starting to make the turn. • Complete the turn into the lane closest to the intended direction.
