Traffic light control simulation projects

Traffic Light Controller
This project consists of designing, implementing and building a traffic signal
controller that manages a four-way intersection.

1- Use the PIC to implement a traffic light controller.
2- Each street has three lights: Straight, Left Turn, and Pedestrian.
3- The straight signal consists of three lights Red, Amber and Green.
- The ON time for these lights is as follows: Green 20 seconds, Amber 5 seconds and Red
depends on the other lights.

4- The left turn signal consists of Red, Amber, and Green lights.
- These lights have a sensor in the street.
- If the sensor is pressed, then the corresponding left turn signal is turned on (Green) for 10 seconds
at the beginning of the next round.

Don’t forget a 5 second Amber light.

- Each pair of left-turn signals operate together.
5- The Pedestrian signal consists of two lights – Red (for don’t walk) and Green (for walk).
- These lights are controlled by a button on the side-walk.
- If the button is pressed, then the light should become green the next time
the corresponding straight way red signal is on.
- The green should be on for 10 seconds.

6- Construct a model for the intersection using colored LED’s to show the status of each signal and push buttons for the left-turn sensors and the walk signal request.
