Recipe (for 25 pieces):

1 tbsp water
1/3 cup (70 g) brown sugar
0,2 cup (50 g) sugar beet syrup (or molasses)
0,2 cup (50 g) honey
1/3 cup (75 g) soft butter
orange peel
1 pinch of salt
3/2 cup (190 g) cake flour
1 pinch baking powder
1 pinch anise,cloves,cardamom
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
3 x 1/4 cup (50 g)jam (e.g. strawberry,apricot and lime)
Tips for preparation:

- Baking temp.: 356°F / 180°C
- Baking time: about 10 minutes
- Instead of sugar beet syrup you can also try other syrups.
- Let sugar mixture cool down before you add flour.
- Size: 0.8 x 2 inch (2 x 5 cm)
- High: 0.2 inch (0,5 cm)
- Push in a cooking spoon to create little hollows.
- Let cool down after baking.
- Press jam through a sieve.
