To tie the brandling worm fly pattern you will need:
Size 10 wet fly hook
Black tying silkRed holographic
Opal mirage
Silver badger cock hackle
Black marabou
They often say ‘darker the day, darker the fly’ and this boobie is dark with a bit of glamour about it. The boobie eyes will keep this up as a depth control on your washing line and also fished on the top or bottom of the team will create some popping or ‘splooping’ on the surface witch brings the trout running, or swimming.
