EL CAJON – July 10, 2012 – El Cajon PD responded to a dark parking lot off E Main St where a woman reported she had been raped. Heartland Fire was called out for evaluation of the victim and possible transport. Upon speaking with the woman for several minutes, she was put in to a patrol car, I believe without handcuffs, where she was probably transported to a nearby hospital to have a rape kit done. Due to the nature of the call I kept my distance and was unable to get a SOT. Heartland Fire dispatched the call at 12:47AM. The scene was cleared approximately 30 minutes later.
